Sieben Ranch
This historic ranch, located near Gates of the Mountains in Lewis and Clark County, was established as a stage stop by Malcolm Clarke in 1864. It was the site of his murder in 1869. Later, it was part of pioneer James Fergus' large holdings. Henry Sieben purchased it in 1897. Under Sieben, the ranch became a huge sheep and cattle operation. Sieben's grandson, John F. Baucus, and his wife Nina currently run the ranch.
